Excellence, Recognized

The Auburn Plainsman reports that the university recognized excellence in its faculty in an award ceremony held September 30th.

One of the recipients is Donna Bohanan, a professor of history.  She was awarded the Gerald and Emily Leischuck Endowed Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching.

During my freshman year in the mid-80s, Dr. Bohanan was my professor for world history.  I very much enjoyed her class due to her teaching skills and style.  Although my experience was many years ago, I am not surprised that she would be recognized with an award like this one.

Other award recipients are Geoffrey Hill (biological sciences), Elizabeth Guertal (agronomy and soil), Malcolm Crocker (mechanical engineering), and Josh Inwood (geology and geography).
Congratulations to all!
